Wenger: Signing New Players? "Possible, but at the moment I cannot promise you that"

Arsène Wenger, Arsenal Head coach, says  that they are trying to sign new players before the end of the transfer window: “I am always confident that a last-minute situation or solution is available, because the transfer market is especially moving in the last four or five days,” says Wenger at the Official Arsenal Site. “But at the moment I cannot promise you that. wenger also say that they are doing the best they can to bring new players in several positions , but at the moment there are no results: “We work very hard, you know I have a team around me who work day and night to find good solutions. I am 24 hours available per day, so I am involved in the decision of course, but at the moment we are not close to signing anyone.” The Gunners have so far strengthened their team only by signing Petr Cech from Chelsea, a fact arsenal fans feels much upset, especially after seeing other club as Manchester united and Liverpool making a significant signings. Earlier, Speaking in the pre-match press conference ahead of his side's home match against Liverpool, Wenger has admitted that they are  nowhere near signing new players.
