Actually, the champions season playing at Alkmaar (2008/09) under Man United coach van gaal, was the last season Romero has played as the leading goal keeper in a team that won a significant title.  The big question mark is whether Romero will play at Manchester united as the first goalkeeper, or he is planned to seat in the bench as victor Valdes substitute.
